Naman's Trip to Kasam on India's Children's Day

Our team member, Naman, just got back from Kasam where he visited the school and all our kids! He got to spend good quality time with our kids for India’s Children’s Day. We wanted to share some photos from his trip with you!

Giving out athletic awards to the students. The school has excelled in Track and Field, as well as Volleyball at both district and state level. They also have introduced Chess now, with a dedicated teacher. There is a lot of interest in Chess with kids rushing to the computer room during breaks to get a few games in.

The younger kids love making faces!! I was asked to join during one of the many selfies!

After a day off, it was back to the grind! Kids write their mid-term exams the next day.

Kids up to grade 5 now have newer uniforms – which they apparently like a lot more. Here students are learning the names and nutritional values for oranges, guavas, and apples in the new “smart classroom” where kids learn through interactive activities instead of textbook learning.
